Wine, the Cellar, and the Grove – Spaces for socializing
When visiting the Mátra wine region, it is natural that every house has its own wine cellar, or at least a similar place where you can pleasantly pass the time, and pour the wine.
The Wine and the Terrace
If the weather is a bit chilly, or perhaps too hot, or if mosquitoes won't let you enjoy your wine peacefully outdoors, then choose the cellar. You don't even have to step out of the house for this; you can walk right down from the lounge and indulge in the enjoyment of Mátra wines.
In all other cases when you're not in the cellar, wine should be enjoyed on the terrace. It can accommodate up to 20-25 people if you manage to get the group together, and the reminiscing can go on until the wine runs out.
The Grove and the Secret of the Well
Since we've discussed the naming of the guesthouse, we must mention the other half. The 'Liget' (Grove) is none other than the garden, where not only abundant fruit grows, but there is also a well. If you have heard the legend of the dragon, you will be interested in the history of the well. The other exclusivity of the Grove lies in the fact that it is practically separated from the Kisnána Castle area only by the Dolina stream – as we already mentioned: the Castle is right next door.
