On the evening of May 4, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming special guests to Vár-Liget Guesthouse once again: pilgrims from the Mary’s Way (Mária Út) stopped by to rest and recharge for the night.
The sign at our entrance—“Peace to all who enter”—carried a particularly deep meaning on this occasion. The tired yet smiling group warmly welcomed the tranquility of our accommodation and quickly felt right at home. In the evening, we greeted them with a warm dinner and friendly conversation, where they shared their journey's experiences, thoughts, and the spiritual depth of the Mary’s Way pilgrimage.
The next morning, after a good rest and a light shared breakfast, they set off toward their next destination. It was truly heartening to see that our guesthouse offered them not just a physical rest stop, but a genuine communal and spiritual experience as well.
Hosting travelers with such a noble purpose is always a special privilege for Vár-Liget Guesthouse. We believe that the hospitality and peace they experience here will accompany them on their journey for a long time to come.
